He helps business owners grow from an “owner wears all hats” approach to the development of a results-driven and profitable team, allowing the business owner to focus on the areas that he or she enjoys. Background

Andre began working at Standard Bank as a Bank Manager in 1985. Electing to concentrate on Development Finance he joined Ithala Bank in 1987 and spent the next 10 years in financing small to medium enterprises. In 1996 he purchased a Steers franchise in Kloof which he successfully ran until the sale of the business at the end of 2002. Having a desire to expand his horizons he joined Wakefields Estate Agents as an estate agent for the next 2 years. In 2004 he returned to franchising having joined the Franchisor Famous Brands as the Regional Operations Manager for KZN. The brand portfolio includes mainstream and emerging brands ranging from Steers, Wimpy, Debonairs Pizza, Mugg & Bean, FishAways, Tashas, Vovo Telo. In 2014 he started his own consulting business advising and mentoring business enterprises. He also acted as a Business Mentor for the Tourism Enterprise Partnership & Department of Economic Development, Tourism & Environmental Affairs, facilitating the development and sustainability of micro, small and medium enterprises that contribute to job creation, economic development and transformation in the tourism sector.
